Update! Update! Update!

Hello Ladies!! I'm just wondering how everyone is doing. We are coming down to the wire and I'm hoping everyone is as excited as I am!

Carley and Camille, how are our shirts coming? They are going to be so awesome!! Kendra, the socks are Perfect!! Time to get out your scissors and cut out some dolls if you haven't already...I'm thinking dolls hanging from the antenna, the bumper, wrapped around my van, streaming from the mirrors...some large and some small, every color paper I can find, a little bit of everything!!

How is the training going? Tonight Kendra, Josie and I ran Mahogany Hill...ouch, it's a good one. Good Job Girls!! Just wanted to check in and tell everyone Hello!! Hope all is well....start loosening up your slot machine arm!

How is everyone doing on running? I ran in a 10K Saturday and it felt good....for running.
Does everyone have a running skirt? I love mine, I was surprised but it's pretty awesome.

Music for Vegas!

Hey everyone, I just designated myself as the DJ for this trip. I want to make a CD with all of our favorite songs on it. I will bring my computer so that we can all put the CD mix on our ipods and mp3 players if you want. So...could I get a song or two from each of you so that I can make the CD? Meet Chantel...

Hola fellow runner ladies!

Well, I figured since you all probably only know me as Tiff's little sister, I should probably do a little intro for me! I'm Chantel, most people call me Channy. I live in SLC and am in my last year at the University of Utah. I am majoring in Communications and will graduate in the Spring! yayy! I ran cross-country a couple yrs at UVU, and then transferred to the U this last semester and have just been trying to keep up the running on my own!...not working too well yet, but no frets I will be in shape for Ragnar:) I love design, photography, lake, vacations, music, sports and good friends and family. Look forward to meeting you all:)))

So thanks for letting me know about the mile change. Guess what though? It landed in my favor BECAUSE....now I don't have as many miles as before. I am now running 17.5 instead of 18.8. Not bad! I was hoping they would have at least cut my first run a little bit. 8.7 is not going to be fun to run in midday. Oh well, beggars can't be choosers, right? Any of you Morgan runners up for a short 3 miler tonight. I will have to take Kort with me, but I'll try and keep up. Thanks...Tiff

Change in total miles

Hey all! Just a little FYI~ I just got off the phone with Townsy to make sure I wasn't crazy turns out I am not... you can make your own assessment later. :)
But apparently the distances have changed for a few of the runners... Originally I only had a total of 9 something miles but now I have an even 11! SO just thought I'd pass that along. Might want to check yours out... Happy running!!!

Smokin' Ash

Hi, I'm runner 8 Ashley, Smashley, Trashley, Ashley Jo, Kickin' Ash, or....Smokin' Ash. This will be my third ragnar and don't worry the sharpie is packed for more "Ragnar fo' eva" tattoos (Ragnar for ever, not Ragnar for Eva.)Kendra (aka Phatty aka Pork Chop) is my cousin and Cambam is my cousin-in-law though technically running has made us blood brothers for life. I'm the sweaty/wet gal on the left.Word to the wise, if you are in Van 2 beware of Cami's hatred towards deep seat pockets. Anyway I'm 23, a junior high home ec teacher/volleyball coach and I am super excited to escape my teacher facade and just be me and laugh with the girls for a weekend. And...sorry if I act pre-pubescent and laugh at words like "boobs"; it's my whole world right now.

Also, the race is only 4 days before my 24th birthday--I expect big and expensive presents.
